AstraZeneca has been fined $3.1 million for illegally marketing and selling a drug called Nexium 20mg.

In an interview with The Sun, the company said Nexium 20mg was the best-selling drug in the world and it was used to treat heartburn and acid reflux.

Thefineline was based on information given by AstraZeneca and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in April.

“It was a very innovative drug and we had a good indication,” said Dr. Albert Bourla, director of the AstraZeneca Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.

Nexium, a drug used to treat heartburn, is known by its brand name esomeprazole.

It is a member of the class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors. Esomeprazole is used to treat stomach ulcers and reflux disease. It can also be used to treat acid reflux disease in people with GERD and acid reflux disease in people without GERD.

The FDA had previously fined AstraZeneca $3.1 million in 2013 for marketing and selling a drug that treats acid reflux.

The fine is based on a study which was conducted by AstraZeneca’s research group. It found that 40 percent of patients taking Nexium 20mg had heartburn, with 40 percent of patients with GERD taking the drug.

The study was led by Dr. David A. Schoenbaum of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Houston and led by Dr. Steven Nissen of New York University School of Medicine in New York City.

Nexium was the drug of choice for patients with heartburn and GERD. It has been approved to treat the condition by treating the symptoms.

AstraZeneca said the drug was available only on prescription. It also had a marketing exclusivity period of 90 days following its FDA approval.

AstraZeneca, which makes the drug Nexium, is trying to gain market share from a new, cheaper alternative. AstraZeneca is currently engaged in a research collaboration with Merck & Co. which hopes to develop a generic version of Nexium by the end of the year.

Nexium 20mg is available in the United States by prescription only.

AstraZeneca is seeking approval to launch the generic version of Nexium by the end of May. AstraZeneca is also pursuing other companies to develop and market generic versions of the drug.

The drug is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat stomach ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It works by blocking the production of acid in the stomach.

Nexium is a prescription-only medicine, and was the first drug approved for the treatment of acid reflux disease.

AstraZeneca said Nexium 20mg is the best-selling drug in the world and is used to treat heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux disease and acid reflux disease in people with GERD and GERD in people without GERD. The company said it has been using the drug for more than 10 years.

“We are delighted to work with AstraZeneca and our partners with a commitment to developing a more cost-effective alternative to Nexium 20mg,” said Dr. David S. Schoenbaum, director of the AstraZeneca Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.

Schoenbaum said the FDA had previously fined AstraZeneca $3 million in 2013 for marketing and selling a drug that treats acid reflux.

ThestraZeneca’s research group said the drug was available only on prescription and was being used by many patients. The drug has also been approved to treat GERD.

AstraZeneca said Wednesday that it has agreed to pay $3.1 billion to settle allegations that it used a false name in a $15.7 billion settlement with GlaxoSmithKline in 2004.

The company agreed to pay $3.1 billion, in part, to settle allegations that it paid inflated kickbacks to doctors who prescribed AstraZeneca's products, which contained prescription drugs AstraZeneca sought to make available to the public.

AstraZeneca paid $1.2 billion to settle allegations that GlaxoSmithKline paid kickbacks to doctors who prescribed AstraZeneca's products, which contained prescription drugs AstraZeneca sought to make available to the public.

The settlement resolves allegations that AstraZeneca paid kickbacks to doctors who prescribed the drugs, and other kickbacks, to prescribe the drugs. AstraZeneca agreed to pay $1.2 billion to resolve these allegations, in part, to settle a class-action lawsuit filed in a federal court in New York.

The suit, filed in federal court in Manhattan in February, names the makers of Nexium, the generic version of AstraZeneca's brand for the drug used in treating heartburn, acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

The suit alleges that AstraZeneca agreed to pay the company $15.7 billion in kickback and related rebates and expenses to cover a settlement kickback of $1.2 billion.

The suit claims that in 2005 AstraZeneca's marketing director, Sidney Wolfe, paid $10 million for the marketing of Nexium and $4 million for AstraZeneca's promotion of the drug.

In a statement, the company said the company has "disappointed this litigation by denying any liability and has agreed to pay the full costs of the litigation and to reimburse all parties for any costs that may have been incurred."

The settlement is part of a multistate settlement reached in the United States on Sept. 11, 2005, that the company announced in February.

The case was brought by two individuals in New York, both in a class-action lawsuit, against the companies for alleged kickback payments of more than $1.2 billion to doctors who prescribed AstraZeneca's Nexium for heartburn, acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease in 2004.
